Palm Desert, California is the new home of the fourth facility of Ben Clymer’s The Body Shop, with other locations in Yucaipa, Riverside and Moreno Valley. The collision-repair company was founded in 1972 with the goal of creating a top-notch client experience.
The result is a family owned body shop that is dedicated to making each client feel that they are a part of the family.
The company also specializes in automotive paint of all types — performing jobs from vehicle restoration to preparing a show-vehicle ready for judging.
The Palm Desert facility opened Dec. 1 and is hiring additional employees for a total staff of 13.
The company subscribes to the services of the Automotive Customer Relations Bureau Information Center (ACRB), an independent, third-party, consumer company that surveys each and every job performed by the body shop, measures the quality of work completed, customer satisfaction, timeliness of completion and many other metrics.
“Being involved in a collision can be a trying and emotional time. Our goal is to make it easier for our customers by handling the repairs on the vehicle from start to finish without the customer having to worry about attention to detail and quality workmanship and parts,” co-owner Bryan Clymer said.
“Our service specialists are available to answer any questions regarding insurance options, timeframe of repairs, transportation options, and to help get the customer back on the road quickly,” he said.
The company thanks its customers by sharing its success through its Benevolence Car Giveaway program. Once a year, Ben Clymer’s The Body Shop donates a car, complete with one year of insurance, paid DMV fees, and a trunk full of groceries to a family in each of the cities where it operates. Palm Desert will be included in this program during the following year.
